She was part of the group that in 1926 established the Russian orthography of literary Romani language. She was the author of the first school book of the Romani language in 1928.
We aspire to create a new world without patriarchy, with the liberation of roma, black, muslim, arab women from all corners of the earth, of all colors and religions, and all racialized women, so they can fully develop their rights as women and citizens.
The inclusion of young roma women through nonformal education
The project started during the 1990s in Romania. It was the first after the communist period which targeted Rromani women.
On November 17 and 18, 2017, the Asociación Gitanas Feministas por la Diversidad organized in Madrid, Spain, the First Congress on Romani Feminism.
The Rromani Women's Gala was a voluntary based feminist initiative, started by four Rromani and non-Rromani women in 2011 in Romania.
This legal concept was for the first time introduced in Romanian legislation in 2006.
